WARRANTY

Extent of Coverage

QOGRISUN takes pride in the craftsmanship of our solid brass hardware. We warrant to the original purchaser that our products will be free from defects in material and craftsmanship under normal residential use.

Limited Lifetime Mechanical Warranty

We guarantee the structural integrity of our hardware for as long as the original purchaser owns the product. This covers mechanical failures such as thread stripping, breakage, or structural deformation under normal use.

1-Year Finish Warranty

We warrant the lacquered and plated finishes on our products against peeling, cracking, or excessive premature tarnishing for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

Conditions and Exclusions

To ensure the longevity of your hardware, proper care is required. This warranty does not cover damages or defects caused by the following:

Living Finishes & Natural Patina

Finishes designated as "Unlacquered Brass" or "Living Finishes" are intentionally designed to age, darken, and develop a unique patina over time due to exposure to air and touch. This natural oxidation process is a characteristic of raw brass and is strictly excluded from the finish warranty.

Normal Wear and Tear

Scratches, dents, or natural fading of the finish resulting from daily use over the years.

Improper Care and Cleaning

Damage caused by the use of abrasive cleaning pads, steel wool, harsh chemicals, bleach, or ammoniated products. (We strongly recommend cleaning your hardware only with a soft cloth, warm water, and mild soap).

Improper Installation

Damage resulting from incorrect installation, over-tightening of screws, use of power tools, or any modifications made to the product.

Environmental Factors

Damage from exposure to extreme conditions, including coastal/saltwater environments, high humidity, or outdoor use (unless specifically marked as outdoor-safe).

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If your product is found to be defective within the scope of this warranty, QOGRISUN will provide a free replacement of the same or a comparable product.

Required Information:

  • 1 Your order number or valid proof of purchase.
  • 2 Clear photos or videos showing the defect.
  • 3 A brief description of the issue and how the product was maintained.
